The third issue of The Irregular Times centres women-led initiatives. It aims to shift the power of storytelling in the form of paintings, photography, performance, writing, and sculpture to talented and phenomenal artists. The issue introduces new writers and highlights stories about the legacy of women in our lives, focusing on the importance and significance of owning and knowing our bodies. 

Why we like it

Recess is drawn to the playful, rebellious, and inclusive attitudes of TIRT, breaking ground for Indian artists around the globe. We’re honoured to sell their newspaper across the ocean in Toronto for the very first time.

The Irregular Times is a quarterly art and design newspaper that serves as an opportunity to provide new perspectives at the intersection of art, media, activism, politics, & contemporary culture. Their goal is to collaborate with individuals to create our vision of what we’d like to see in print, to be as accessible and inclusive as possible, build meaningful exchanges with our readers and most importantly, revive print media.
